I am extremely proud to be Assistant Superintendent of Sweetwater County School District #2. I am currently starting my twenty ninth year in education and have found the career to be extremely satisfying. Daily I get to work with other educational professionals who are committed to educating young people and who take great pride in their work.
In 1989 I came to Sweetwater County where I began my teaching career at Rock Springs High School as an English teacher. After teaching and coaching for 15 years, I began my work as an administrator becoming the Activities Director at Rock Springs High School. After four years as Activities Director and Assistant Principal, I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to work as Principal of Green River High School. I have been in my current role as Assistant Superintendent for the past seven years and learn from district leaders, teachers and staff every day.
I have two children. Blaine(22), who graduated from Green River High School, is currently in his fifth year of college at the University of Wyoming. Blaec(26), my daughter, has worked at TATA for the past four years. I also have a seven year old grandson, Ashton and a one year old granson named Roman. They along with Blaec and her husband Danny Blaisdell live in Rock Springs.
