***HOMECOMING FOOTBALL GAME CHANGE OF DATE***

The Green River High School Varsity Homecoming Football game vs Evanston on September 26th has been changed to Saturday, September 27th: - Due to a shortage of football officials in Wyoming and the surrounding states, the previously scheduled officials for the September 26th game had to cancel. After an extensive search to find certified officials, no other crews were available to officiate on Friday, Sept 26th.

- The Homecoming football game against Evanston has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 27th, at 11:00 AM. It has been confirmed that this time works for a newly found officiating crew and will not conflict with the Homecoming Dance, Volleyball Games vs Rock Springs, or other Homecoming Activities currently scheduled.

-Athletic Directors and Head Football Coaches for both Evanston and Green River have agreed to the new game time. The decision was made to avoid canceling or forfeiting the game, which was the only other option. Sweetwater County School District #2 Activities Director, Tony Beardsley, has confirmed that the remaining football games for the season are not expected to have any officiating issues. The District has had to adjust varsity game dates in the past due to officiating availability.
